Ok I have a question
I am currently 6'1" and weigh 240 lbs
recently I have had a knee injury which doctors said that I shouldn't do any high impact excercise for the rest of my life basically bcuz i have severe artheritis of the knee, but I wanna still join the military but this obv puts a strain on it. What I am wondering was if there is anything I can do to help prepare to try to get thru basic training such as certain supplements or certain non impact excercise I can do to try and prepare more than I currently am??
currently I am doing cardio on an elliptical for an hour or so a day cuz no impact, working out 5x a week, and eating healthy to lose weight
First of all I wouldn't be joining the military with that condition. You are risking a lot by doing so.
Secondly, you are going to need to go on a cutting cycle to get rid of that excess fat and take the strain off of your knees.
please go to this post of mine to see a good basic idea of cutting
