5 plate deadlift PR

Working on my initial depth. Was amped up so definitely had other things on my mind at the time, and my flexibility sucks anyways. 1+ month into a cut also btw

Gratz on the PR but do you notice the arch in you lift? Looks like your lifting from your toes and not so much heals, but thats what im seeing, could be off

idk honestly on that particular lift. I kinda just told myself at the moment to just fucking lift that shit up and it went up.

I'll try to get a video up of 405 next week so I/you guys can take a look at how my form is normally.

Gz on the lift John! Watch out with the form though, there was an arch, and it wasn't only thoracic m10-1 <3

Lol, thanks brotha.

I've reached my lifetime DL goal. So as far as going heavy, this is probably as heavy as I'll ever go. So time to perfect the form and other aspects of the body.

Other aspects of the body I move onto! There are plenty of other things I'm looking forward to improving, like working on cardiovascular strength, athleticism, and I want to start doing yoga as well. I won't necessarily stop training it, but just put less of a priority on strength.

What about your squat? do you have any goals in that area?

oh yea, needs the most work out of any of my lifts. I'll be working on it for a while. Next bulk i'm running smolov on squat

Bench just needs a touch more work. I told myself 2 years ago when I started lifting that if I can get 225x12 then I would be more than happy with my strength. I can hit 225x9-10 now

Squat I want 315 for atg reps
