how do you find hook grip comfortable. i feel as if my thumb will rip off. nice lift but should i refrain from using straps if i wish to increase my over forearm strength?

Looking for a new routine guys, been kinda doing my own thing in the gym but I want some sort of stability in my routine. Goals are to build some size, not really looking for a pure strength routine. I'll get some strength with added size. Do you guys have any beginners or immediate routine that you think would be a good place to start? Thanks in advance!

I don't really train hypertrophy but I've heard great things about the PHAT routine

Had a video underhand barbell rowing 315x6 pretty strict
