Looked like you were going to snap all your shit up, I would reccomend taking off your shoes, and avoiding the belt if possible, You look like a reasonably healthy guy and if you keep using the belt you will be dependent on it for the rest of your lifting days


Go to the gym, slap two 10's on each side go parallal to a mirror and look at your self while you do it

Train your nevous system to accept the movement in perfect form

Didn't know shoes made such a difference while deadlifting, how so?

And as for the belt, I rarely use it so I'm not dependant on it lol. Just tried it as it was my first time doing DL.

push through the heels, big chest, super deep breath, squeeze everything, scrape those shins, drop hips at start of pull

thinking about scraping the shins helped my keep it going vertical and not letting it get out in front of me.

This, Exactly and the shoes help you to to maintain your grounding when lifiting from your heals

Shoes like converse
"chucks" i think there called are ideal

285 lb x 10 (Program says no more than 10)

Stiff-Legged Barbell Deadlift:
305 lb x 8

Sumo Deadlift: (still working technique)

Man I am so gonna pull sumo next comp. It feels so easy.

It's like the 5th time I do them. After I'm done with smolov I'll start pulling sumo more frequently so in December I think.

Should hit 1200 next comp
