Short break is fashionable right now. I prefer mid break however. Have you measured to see what the two breaks would be like when you sit?
A shorter break looks better when you are standing but can make you uncomfortable when you sit if too much sock is showing. I don't like showing any sock so I opt for longer. That's going to be your call in terms of comfort.

I don't like the cap but everything else works. If you need to wear something, try a grey beanie.
