you really can. you likely just dont know how much is actually a lot. think you can manage 5 scrambled eggs, 2 pieces of toast w. peanut butter and a glass of milk for breakfast each day? thats about 750-800cals by my math. eat that much 3 times a day with varying foods [like chicken, beef, fish, oats, rice, veggies, etc] and you'll be over 2k cals. add in your protein shakes n snacks and you'll be nearing 3k, which is more than enough for you to gain weight

I can do that for sure for breakfast, not so much for lunch and dinner because I dont have the time to make myself a meal.

yea like when i say a tuna sandwich, i mean like a big ass can of tuna, on a large whole wheat bun or ww bread if it works, with w.e you want on it for flavour. if you're goin to eat fruit, two bananas. yogurt? grab at least a cup and mix in some raw oats for more cals. theres a lot of stuff you can do to one food to make it give you twice as much nutrients easily.

ie i usually take about a cup and a half of plain yogurt [legit, non-fucked up food], mix in a scoop of whey and a half cup of oats. in the end you get just over 500cals, lots of nice protein, complex carbs and meni micronutrients for just a cup of chocolate yogurt? the whey and oats literally doubled the number of calories compared to just a cup and a half of yogurt.

rice is good. ask them to just always add in some form of meat for protein, and im sure you already get meni vegetables

e: and trust me i know what its like not buying your own food. i still get my mom to get all sorts of good shit for me from costco. lots of fish, chicken, almond butter, oats, yogurt n whatnot
