I am wondering what he did to get there

he  must be  like 250 lbs

Mariusz is actually 6'1 275 lbs right now, but in the world's strongest man competition he is 315 lbs. He had to lose 40 lbs to compete in MMA to make weight class. Also, when competing in worlds strongest man, he was 315 lbs and pretty lean (maybe 7-8% bf). So now that he's 40 lbs lighter...it seems like he lost a lot of muscle which is unfortunate...and could possibly hurt his future WSM appearances.

Mariusz hits like a truck. If you watch the youtube videos of him training...when he punches...its ridiculous. If he bare hand punched an opponent directly in the medial portion of a bone (say the ribs) I guarantee those bones would snap like popsicle sticks. I have no idea the PSI of his punches and kicks...but I certainly must say they are beyond epic.

In addition, I have been saying this for years to all the MMA fans who believe skill and athleticism are the key to victory - this may be so when comparing two SIMILAR opponents....but when you put a person like Mariusz who is undoubtedly one of the strongest human beings on the planet...who also has infinite mental discipline and good athletic ability....no matter how many times you hit him...or how hard you hit him...if he gets his hands around you...he will break you.

Brock Lesnar vs Mariusz Pudzianowski would be interesting...however, Mariusz is about 3 inches shorter...yet also almost 40 lbs heavier and also CONSIDERABLY stronger. Personally I think Mariusz would mop the floor with Brock...especially if he turns rage mode on.

Similar to a barbarian's whirlwind, but he may need extra mana pots. :(

lmao! yeah...add some leap attack and zerk...and you have Mariusz. Mana pots for normal people is extra bacon at breakfast for Mariusz.

Hello Raynor,

Thanks for the great advice you have given me so far. But I just had a quick question I was hoping you'd have an answer to. My schedule is pretty busy till about usually 1:00AM in the morning. So I got a 24 hour pass since I can only go that late at night. Anyways, would there be any detrimental effects to my muscle growth or body in general if I plan to workout this late in the day?

Not unless you are getting less than 8 hours of sleep. The time(s) you sleep isn't as important as total sleep. There are studies being done about circadian rhythms - some people function better at night, some better in the mornings, some better in the afternoons. There really is not enough research done on this yet...but as far as science can tell as of now...as long as you get enough sleep in a 24 hour period, you'll be fine.

(figured i mind as well use him as an example to keep up with that talk haha)

how can i target this portion of the calf? as in the inside of the leg, not the outside

i have shitty calf genetics(so im told), so i am trying to work my calves like crazy, but it seems that the outside is developing more than the inside

i have been mixing in standing calf raises, seated calf raises, leg press calf raises, and tib raises..but i wasnt sure if i should try angling my feet in different ways or what i should do to put mor emphasis on the inside part
