His goal is a strong deadlift, What benefit would keeping tension give him? Benefift vs risk / 10

Dont lock out? Yea maybe if his goal was a strong half rep deadlift

for deadlifts or squats? If i put it on any tighter for deadlifts I can't even get into the starting position. My deadlift form was way better before, I've just been getting lazy, I'm taking a deload week this week and gonna work on getting it back to normal
