Some can argue if their harder or not. I got my bar in about a month of training, then not even a week later i got rings. i think the rings are easier because they can move with you.
Non kip ring ups are brutal
to be honest i can do roughly around 10 bar muscle ups ina row and i tried doing it on rings and couldnt get one. was discouraging so i have never tried again because i don't know any places with rings for me to use and im also not intrigued enough to learn the form for rings
