Honestly? The biggest thing is my depression is gone. Starting last spring to this spring i had pretty severe depression. Going to the gym and doing a 5 day split wasn't helping. I was making a lot of progress still but i was fucking bored and hated my life.
Crossfit not only filled that void, it pushed me past a lot of breaking points physically and mentally i didn't realize i could break and gave me something in my life that i was really missing. Not quite sure what it was.

Working with trainers personally and up close daily has increased my ROM, corrected my form on a lot of lifts (Severely), strength gains, i look fucking amazing, and i no longer get winded after running for 2 minutes.
I seriously used to think i had awesome form on most movements. Until i got a huge fucking reality check getting training from Kevin/his wife and the trainers down in Calgary.( Where Kristen lives. The stupid slut.)
I feel fucking amazing right now and i'm only like.. What, 6-7 months into this? I'm a huge fan for do what what makes you happy and this what does it for me.

Late next year i'd like to enter a few Oly lifting competitions depending how the Open goes/if i make it to regionals.. But we'll see where my numbers are in the next year.

gj on finding what does it for you. <3

Jackie. Short, quick, and fucking painful. It's been raining for a couple days and super muggy outside and in the gym, reallllly hard to breath.
1000m row.
50 45lb Thrusters
30 pullups for time.

8:13 Yuck. Beat my old time by a minute but still about a minute off the fastest time of the time. The trick is to do the thrusters unbroken, not in 5 sets of 10...

Pretty quick saturday, im happy with it.

1500m Row
36 Body Weight Deadlifts
63 box jumps @ 20'

13:37 ( LEET)
My quads were literally shaking half way through the box jumps. Pure horribleness.

Then 4x 100m Sprints.

Walk back to the start and continue. Good way to finish off a killer leg workout. Ugh.

20minutes of Snatch work.
Increase the load every 2 minutes.
40% of max, 5 5, 60, 65 etc up to about 90% of your max Squat snatch.

Stayed at 115 working on form and only form. I feel like i suck more at this movement everytime i do it.

Front squats, no time frame but get it done within 15-20minutes.
7 sets
80% of max for 3 (225lbs)
85% of max for 2 (235lbs)
95% to 100% of max for 1. (245lbs)
90% of max for 3
95% of max for 2
105% of max. PR'd MY FRONT SQUAT BY 10lbs!!! 275lbs. Felt good but a little slow coming up. Guessing right now i'd be able to manage 285 for a 100% lift.
90% of max for 6. (I used 225lbs :p)

6 minute AMRAP

2 Squat snatch @ 115lbs
4 muscle ups.

Only got like 3 and a half rounds. Muscle up's aren't a movement i feel super comfortable with yet.
