well i went from 155-160 to 138.. i dont want to lose anymore mass, on top of that some of the weight i can tell is clearly water weight, and i think with the whole "eat whatever i have a craving for because its the only thing il be able to eat" is adding fat
so pissed...
Kickinwings, let me tell you a little story.
When i was 16, I was in a horrible car wreck (i was the a rear-passenger). I was ejected from an isuzu amigo going 80mph down a 25mph road....one of my other friends was also ejected and landed on me...finally the car came rolling down and ran me over. I was conscious through the whole thing. The extent of my injuries was massive. I had a shattered pelvis, broken ribs, shattered right shoulder, dislocated left shoulder, fractured pubic bone, torn erethra, severe neuropathy on the left side of my body, 6 broken fingers, spinal column comprssion and a chronic un-named heart condition (either from the injection of epinephrine directly into my heart, or the trauma itself).
either way...I went from 5'9 175 lbs to 5'5 125 in a matter of about 45 days. My height was lost because of the spinal column compression, and the weight literally was flying off of me. My body was cannibalizing my muscle and fat tissue to recover from the trauma and sustain life.
However, 9 months of hospital stay and surgeries later...not to mention about $950,000 in medical expenses...I was back to somewhat normal and lifting weights again. It took me about 1 year to get back to where I was before the car wreck.
Incidentally the guy driving the car had been my best friend of 8 years...he was like a brother to me...he wrecked the car intentionally because he was angry.....not drunk....just angry. He never apologized for what he did...the police gave him a careless driving citation...that's it.
So with that in mind, the moral of the story for you is....let your body heal itself. Take plenty of glutamine and bcaa's to prevent further muscle atrophe. I would go aggressive with both of these....5g glutamine 4 times a day, as well as 5g bcaa every hour.
As far as exercise and strength training go - avoid all of these for a while, let your body recover. You'll be surprised how fast your muscles can overcome.
