I've been benching for about 2 months.
And I am horrible at bench (mega long arms, can't use wide grip either cause damaged wrist)

I think it's a normal atg form?

nah you know what i think you're right. your neck and shoulders just seem to round a bit at the beginning of the concentric phase but i think its just fatigue setting in. i only notice it in the latter reps

2 plates is 225 right?
Some plates here in England say 20 then under it on the other side of the weight, 45lbs
Same as in America...

Either English cba to put 20.45454545kg
Or American rounded it up.

Im in UK also and have been in a few gyms over the years, i dont know why the Americans use 45 pounders but our plates were always 50lbs but changed to 20kg -i assume so that manufacturers could produce one line instead of two.

kg are kg and lbs are lbs lol....no rounding. 20kg is 44 lbs. bars are 20kg/44lbs about anywhere outside the US.

We only have real plates at our gym (90% eleiko, and sadly some ghey shitplates), so it only says the weight in exact kg, no lbs what so ever.

Well yeah, but since there is some slight rounding, we can agree to use the same numbers. Obviously the difference increases as the weight gets heavier, but since nobody here moves that heavy weights we can leave it at that.

For example you can squat 140kgs and say you squatted 315 instead of 308, for the sake of clarity.

I always post the conversion when I lift in kg. 308 aint 315.

I did at first too. Then I thought we're providing numbers so people can gauge an approximate of ours, and started using their plates numbers
