what do you think about really dark wash jeans (basically black)? I bought them to wear with a blazer. think I can get any casual use out of them?

Yup, definitely. These look really good. Only reason I don't like them is they tend to fade quickly and then no longer look as good. I'd recommend washing them sparsely since they don't show dirt anyways.

Bow ties are the stupidest God damned article of clothing ever conceived with a few minor exceptions.

How can you even say that? Bow ties are absolutely awesome. Scandinavian girls love them so they are quite common here, but whenever I've been out drinking around Eastern/central Europe I tend to get positive comments on my bow ties, brings attention you and some girls like to fiddle with it B)

It fits the smart casual look of young men / teenagers: dark jeans, leather boots or oxfords, plain shirt either tucked in or not tucked in and clearly visible underneath and V-neck sweater.

And of course they are timeless once you've grown up. They fit any man age 20 to 150..

Tell me bow ties don't look good on a tuxedo:

Cool, a men's fashion guide. Last I remembered from this place that was a taboo here and looking like a slack hobo was in. Guess times have changed. As this is HnF, I guess most people will have the same problem as me...

Most of my friends are skinny (30 inch waist, 20 inch quads) and wear skinny jeans and most of the "cooler" brands are marketed towards the young and skinny guys; i.e. Levi's, Nudie, Tiger of Sweden, H&M and so on.

But with my massive quads (26 inches last I checked) and relatively normal waist (34 inches) finding a good pair of jeans is impossible. Eithe waaay too tight or too baggy. Most of what "fits" you will be grandpa jeans which have a terrible wash/colour/style/pattern.

even my bro's who lift tell me I should stop squatting, but I don't wanna stop til I can do like 6 plates... Even then I'd probably say I'll stop at 8 plates :)

30 waist, 20 legs, skinny jeans, checking in.

There are exceptions to the rule, I guess, and there are things James Bond can pull off that the general public can't most of the time lol.

Here's how I see it most of the time:

Just awful.

The picture is basically a very formal look, imo, doesn't look bad but it is just a white shirt with black accessories o.o.
