I think it's great that you've already started to improvise on the program to do more work. And the important thing--which you did--is always to just pick something and do it. Too many folks get caught up in trying to figure which way to start when literally doing anything is always the right answer. I hope you will continue cultivating your passion for fitness/strength because it is already paying dividends. Do you work with a PT or on your own? I work as a PT, yet I think it's better if people do everything on their own, so long as they will actually do it and get passionate about it. There is always more to learn, and that is part of what I love about it. And, of course, the benefits are unbelievable.

lels yes, if he's competing I think that's the plan. Aesthetically he may actually look better now than in comp though.

im definitely in the best shape ive been in.

my diet took a HUGE hit this weekend, i lost control it was fucked.
but im working my ass off to get back on track and with my calorie deficit and ill be flat and depleted as fuck by this friday.
then itll be 1 week to go, and im having a soft peak week.

Diet is the motherfucker in the fitness world. We're building a gym out of our garage so I don't need to bring clients through the house anymore, and I thought about putting up some circle graphs showing that success in fitness is 80% diet, 20% lifting :lol: That and of course, 80% failure, 20% success, etc..

Obviously you've got this. Stay hungry :D

i completely caved.
probably around 18k calories in the 3 days.

BRUTAL, im up weight but still looking decent, just a tad bit softer than I was but that should change in 2-3 days if not less.

Probably don't need to be too grainy for physique but it wouldn't hurt. Hoping he can get just a tad leaner and he should be set.

I think I'm in the Dan gilroy (tear) fan club now. You look awesome Danny boy! Lookin like the white lazar angelov. You are truly an inspiration, I aspire to have a physique like yours!

No pt, I used to be fit and I got comfy after meeting my wife. I originally lost close to 150 lbs and got myself in great shape before joining the navy, so I've known how to do it for a while. Thanks for the encouragement!
