Multi-ply but still I respect the work someone puts in this sport. However I try not to compare my self to other feds because mine has strict rules compared to the others.

I was 82.6 kg / 182 lbs

Understandable. Not quite sure why I even told you about them tbh lol. Just bored at work my friend. Aka sitting behind the desk at the gym 😋

It's all good. For the sake of comparison I like to watch Jonnie Candito who puts 1500-1600 and place at IPF Worlds Juniors. I'm not a Junior anymore but it is someone I look up to.

Almost qualified with my openers. Standards are pretty low but they are increasing by almost 30 kg this year. (Was 542.5 and it's going to be 570).

Next meet is Provincials/State 14-15 November. I won't be as conservative as this past weekend. ;)

Nice job m8, will you compete in it? When is it?

Damn standards is low in Canada :O
590 is limit for -83 in Sweden, sure they increased it alot last year because there was too many people qualifying with the old ones.

BTW, have you checked out the World Cup anything?
We had a girl in our club that won gold in the -47 sub junior today. Fucker has only trained powerlifting for a year.

I will compete at Provincials but not Nationals. Powerlifting is still young so it's good at least they are increasing it because it's growing in popularity. There was over 300 lifters this year.
