3 main tips I would give.
1- Make sure sleep is sufficient and good enough.
2- Eat plenty of protein and fiber as well as enough calories throughout the day.
3- See if eating sugary is related to feelings (i.e. anxiety, boredom, etc).
You should still allow some fun foods to increase adherence. If you're trying to lose weight, as long as you remain below maintenance calories you'll be fine.
This is good advice. Also, drink lots and lots of water. It helps you stop craving and just make you feel better in general.
If you really feel like snacking, go for very pure chocolate. Like 80-100% stuff. I personally love a 99% one. It usually kills my cravings.
