Never been a big fan of protein shakes they give me the shits been lactose i have tried all kinds. I would go eating real food if you can.

I went years without protein shakes but recently did some research and ordered one to complement my new diet plan. Very satisfied with that decision so far..

why? it has its place only to complement a good diet.

maybe immediately after training or in the morning with oats.

late at night some cottage cheese is better imo.

profesional lifters use cottage cheese for late at night. klokov comes to mind.

if you are lactose intolerant, try introducing it by small amounts and increase in time.
