I would suggest enjoying a balanced diet, just monitor your calorie intake, your energy levels will be much higher and quality of life better. If you start with that little of food, what happens when you have to taper the calories back... you will starve.

friend of mine started keto recently and fucking loves it. i've tasted a few things he's cooked up like chicken crust pizza and ramen with "miracle noodles", the rest i've only heard about but sounded amazing.
if you're scared of the kitchen keto isn't for you.
generally i'd agree, just eat clean whole foods. but from what i've read, and seen, and heard from people on it, it seems worth the effort. if i wasn't type 1 diabetic i'd try this shit.
