Sore is bad. The best program is one where you can perform the next day.

True, I usually train light and add increments of 1,25lbs in half a year to reduce possibility of soreness. If the rep gets heavy I just stop and fool around in the male showers for half an hour.

Don't want to feel my muscles a few days after a workout...

What I mean by soreness is it shouldn't effect how you would perform the next day if you are an athlete.

Only place I ever feel soreness anymore is in my hamstrings after leg day. Once again though I need to perform the next day.

Training programs for athletes are not meant to subtract from performance. If you're sore you aren't performing at 100%.

Also steroids helps with recovery, you aren't a great example. Great example for pharmaceuticals though.

So you're for getting in shape with a slow progressive overload to prevent soreness? Rather than battling through soreness, I assume?

didnt use steroids during my sports careers
so... you're argument is already invalid.

your body won't adapt if you never push it to the limits of fatigue and soreness? or not as quick anyways.
what do you do that you consider yourself an athlete?

That's completely false. Progressive overload, yes. Pushing yourself until the point of fatigue and pain? No. That's not proper training.

thats how professional athletes train though no?
suffer this time around, so next time around it becomes easier?

even the navy seals train that way, only easy day was yesterday.

i know two professional athletes and they both claim there isnt a day after a dry land training practice where they arent sore.
and thats at the highest level of their sport (well ones CFL, ones NHL)

Yeah , but they aren't training that way out on a mission or during the season. Context my steroid using Canadian.

they do dry land during the season
and they're training that way because thats how they HAVE to.
because their employers push them to those limits.

you have some insane insecurity to keep on labeling me each post with steroids.
are you in some way insecure im better looking, more physically fit, more athletic, make more money, have a more attractive girlfriend?

i dont see why else you would constently point out an irrelevant issue during another debate on more than one thread on an online gaming forum.
shows your maturity level.
