I don't want to circle jerk too hard here, but I feel like its also worth noting that you're a perfect example of how you can judge a book by its cover, as I said to Wretch before. It doesn't seem like a coincidence to me that you have good ideas in your head and seem to be of solid character, but are also jacked as fuck and handsome / generally successful. Quite contrary to what the majority of those protesting in the streets might appear like.

Seems like what our society is going through is a war to decide if we will still appreciate those who have worked for what they have, or not. Those who have failed at life are fighting (More like whining) for the right to still be heard and have an opinion and seem to be doing everything in their power to diminish the significance of the accomplishments that the successful have made for themselves.

was jacked  im scrawn status now.
but thanks

i mean im not overly successful by any means, i make decent money and i have a nice place with a nice car and a nice life. I worked hard to get where i am, i had a rough go as a child and made it through what most don't.
i think thats why my opinion on society getting soft as fuck is so strong. I struggled and made it out, half the kids today are spoon fed and still do nothing productive with their lives.

i applied to the military, so hopefully i can go to BMQ asap and start serving my country and truly testing my physical and mental limits. the harder im tested the better.. i dont really want to go through life not knowing what my limitations are.

Most points anecdotal and embellished. When he brings up the dopamine aspect he sounds like a fucking imbecile because he doesn't actually understand what he's saying, plus it's patently false. This is just the perennial argument put forth by previous generations, ad nauseam. Herr derr, too much of anything is bad, as he perspicaciously (*sarcasm*) points out. Too much social media, drugs, etc, bad. Okay. That holds for everyone, not "millennials" lol. The issue is that these things are more ubiquitous now (and also more available), but older non-"millennials" are just as susceptible. The newer age generations are far more educated and luckily progressive, promoting more egalitarian views. But really, every generation has their large share of entitled individuals, narcissists, and general dim-wits. This is no different. We just happen to be in an age where technological advancement is at a critical exponential point, thus life will continue to radically change. As if more technology is actually bad lol. Stop being so myopic.

The problem with this, is it takes the responsibility away from the ones who are saying there is a problem. Nobody was complaining until millennials started to protest.

Universities and Colleges were happy to keep raping their parent's money as they came in in droves, purchasing degrees that weren't even economically viable.
Bosses are happy to use them for the revolving door of low level labor.
And the parents seem content keeping them at home for some reason, so I guess that's ok too.

None of it was a problem until they started going into the streets and crying wage gap, patriarchy, sexism, racism, etc.

Millennials everywhere are finding whatever excuse fits their genetic profile to absolve themselves of responsibility and ask for hand outs.

As far as the level of narcissism in this society goes.. never before have we seen such systematic, massive selling out of human flesh and identity in history. Tits and ass for likes, sucking up to radical ideology for virtue signaling, all of this is the unhealthy waste product of social media and it needs to be curbed somehow if we're going to survive whatever transition we're evolving into. Also lets not fall into the trap of old VS. new - I acknowledge that there are a lot of middle to later aged people taking advantage of this shit, too.

The good news though is that we are most likely close enough that all of our differences will be neutralized by technology, anyway. Even now, low level jobs are being phased out - even high level jobs are being phased out. In the USA they've replaced decently educated family lawyers with a computer named "WATSON," which performs all of those duties without needing someone who had so much education.
The military also uses exo suits for their laborers, which will probably soon be replaced by human piloted robots or automated ones altogether.

More and more, ideas are becoming more critical than physical energy. That's why its so important that we make sure to take good values with us into the future, instead of tolerating these fuck heads who want to sit and whine all day long.

i watched a bit of both. the 2nd vid the guy is like "what planet do schools give a's or honor classes because parents cry." idk about the A's part but if your parents cry hard enough in the public school system, you can definitely get put in an honors class...
the harvard part is just a ridiculous exaggeration.
sometimes im glad i was born early enough to experience life before the internet (yeah internet was out way before i was born but it was just AOL and shit) but not late enough to miss out on diablo ii and a world before customer service took over. now in any game if you just cry hard enough u can get the shit you want and players banned because they hurtededed ur feelings.
both bring up good points. from the 1st he mainly brings up parenting and technology then the 2nd brings up the economy...agree with both of those.

I can't stand TYT. Honestly after the last election and how they acted I'm surprised they have any credibility left especially Ana.

also over here as long as you just write your name and date and "tried" your grade defaults to 50%. homework is 10% of your total grade. and all you need is a D to pass a class and a 2.0 gpa overall...you could technically graduate highschool without being able to read or do basic algebra.

So many kids that I grew up with were given everything to them on a silver platter... fast forward 10+ years, half of them still live at home with mommy and daddy. My parents sacrificed their best years to afford keeping my bros and I in a good neighborhood with a good school system.. despite their careers not exactly measuring up to the typical income of most others. I learned at an early age the meaning of working hard to achieve goals.. but that environment was still like poison to me.

It wasn't until after high school and living independently that I started to see how the real world was, and I realized that I needed to escape this trap that my generation was getting sucked into.. Enter the military. The military gave me the structure and discipline that I lacked, trying to be like everyone else I grew up with. I feel like that is a major component that most of today's youth needs, with the way modern parenting and technological distractions have become. I would strongly support an action that mandates a minimum of 2 years of service, post high school/pre-college.

Maybe there is a better way, but the youth of today is just cringe worthy on so many levels. It reached the point where I had to remove myself from all social media outlets.. and honestly, doing so was just as liberating as moving away from home when I was younger.
