lol disagree with everything about your split talk

Well I'll let you argue with brad schoenfeld and the other researchers of that area. It's easy to make gains doing anything when you're on stuff. That doesn't make bro splits credible.

You are literally as big as or bigger than top natty bodybuilders.

I was natty for 5 years, push pulls did fuck all
only thing that worked was volume hypertrophy and 5 day splits for me.

ive been in the gym 8 years, ive known top natty and non unnatty competitors.
NONE of them do push pulls, ever.

if you want to be the most aesthetically pleasing, doing push pulls is not the way to do that.
its pretty simple logic,

work 60% of your muscles, or work all of them, individually.. which do you think is going to yield better results?

Bruh

Compare the pear

Tear 1)
5 sets of 10 = 50 reps on chest
Bunch of accessories to feel da burn

Tear 2)
Monday 5 sets of 10 = 50 reps on chest
Wednesday 4 sets of 5 = 20 medium weight reps on chest
Friday 8 sets of 2 = 16 heavy reps on chest

Which Tear has the joocier chest? Inb4 Tear 1

lol, but no one who's doing your tear1 is only doing 50 sets of press.
maybe for flat, or incline, but then add 2-3 other pressing exercises, or compounds
PLUS accessory, isolating parts of the pec you aren't hitting on your push pulls.

so yes, youd be building a more rounded chest...
you;re hitting it harder and more efficiently.

hence why bodybuilders do them, and not push pulls... natty or not.
and op was looking for aesthetics, not strength.

Working all of them twice a week. Huehuehue

You'll make gains on a bro split. But plenty of studies back the notion that a higher frequency is better.

higher frequency but less volume
makes no sense.

volume >

thats always been the case, hence why body builders always lift for volume, and avoid lower rep ranges.
when the best of the best of the best all do it the exact same way, its most likely the right way to do it.

It's way easier to get more volume over a week in multiple sessions than in one. I assume you don't lift for three hours every day with your bro split?

So yes exactly. Higher overall volume >

Repeated spiking of protein synthesis gives the upper hand with higher frequency though

i did push pulls for a year in kingston ontario,

my gains from them were shit, they kept me full and i did grow from it, but nothing compared to my bro split.

can't spot reduce, so basically lose fat in general.
cardio / weight lifting

its the secret formula

Do you think you had more overall volume in your bro split possibly? Then that would be plausible. Also dieting errors as well.
