tell him to get off the drugs marijuanama isnt good for the brain
Yeh that's easier said than done. :-/ Other than the marijuana, I'm worried about how he's consuming it... specifically:
- if the dealer is adding anything special (doesn't seem that he's consuming anything laced with something obvious, but I remember I had an acquaintance classmate in college that said he used to spray weed with windex to make it look fresher...)
- if the processing my brother does to the weed does anything (he usually buys weed oil, or some weird glass sheet that is produced by essentially processing weed into a condensed oil, so that it is stronger... this process involves using butane and other things, evaporating butane out... the end result technically is supposed to be pure... but if anything is left in, I have no idea if it could be damaging kind of like meth is)
Anyways. Long story short. We've got 911 on speed dial, we're trying to reach out to a schizophrenic family help group that links people in the right direction (even if he doesn't have schizophrenia), and we're seeing what we can do about getting him to a proper psychiatric hospital.
He's showing clear signs of pain and distress right now. We can see him fighting inside. He's normal throughout the day, but not really... he's kind of acting like someone who went through a bad breakup. Quiet, defeated, clearly struggling, talking a lot less, not eating properly, huddling up in his room, constantly sort of reaching out but pulling back before he really says anything.
I'm just venting.
