Confused with what you mean here. Are you saying PTA to DPT?

My program is a 4 year exercise science program where you get a bachelors and then 3 years of the DPT program.

You can decide to opt out of the bachelors and do 3 years of exercise science and then the 3 years of the DPT program.

Also remember that there are hundreds of different jobs that have the same schooling. You can get your DPT and be in a hospital, clinic, etc. Same with a nurse in the sense of that you can work in different areas of the hospital and stuff like that.

Don't shadow one time and think that the profession isn't what you thought it was.

Yeah sorry PTA.. I'm going in with an open mind, just not sure what to pick yet

Honestly it comes down to what you want to deal with. There will be variations in terms of what you need to know for the job, but the main difference will be who you deal with.

Going into a basic pt clinic, the majority of your patients are going to be people who have neglected their body for most of their life and want to fix it in a matter of weeks, with absolutely no knowledge about exercise.

Which is why I'm trying to avoid that. Although it's such a great paying job with minimal stress. From what I've heard, nursing is extremely stressful.

If you do go the PTA path, I would recommend getting that and getting a job and then maybe going back to become a DPT. I believe PTA is a 2 year ordeal, correct?

No sorry, I should've been clear. It takes 4 years for an MD or up to 6 in the uk for their equivalent. An MD is a basic medical degree and every single physician has one however an MD does not permit you to practice medicine. It's just standard foundational training. In order to practice you need to complete residency training. Residency spans at minimum 2 years for family practice up to 8 or so years for neurovascular surgery. I just guessed that radiologists train in residency for some intermediate time like 3 years for a total of 7.
