Some fundamental concepts that you need to learn for the deadlift and squat anyway, but are also critical to the clean and the snatch. Full hip flexion with good external rotation. Proper knee mechanics and function. True lumbar spine alignment, not hyperextension fault or flexion. Stable, externally rotated and retracted shoulder with full shoulder flexion range as well as full elbow extension. Optimal triceps surae length and good ankle mechanics.
