Is it just carbs? is there actually hard evidence i shouldn't eat after a certain time?

Doesn't matter if it's carbs or fat or protein (on a chemical level), it's the physical presence of mass pushing on the musculature that will lead to weakening over time

It doesn't know when it's 8 o clock but it gets into roughly 24 hour patterns. Even basic physiological functions like blood pressure fluctuate fairly precisely with time of day. Keep in mind that clock time is a fairly recent human construct, our bodies don't physically understand time values but understand that you just woke up and it's morning, or that you've been awake for a while and now you're getting hungry etc

I know your studies are a lot about physiology and it sounds like you may be more on the side of this study than against it. Accurate statement?

Well the body doesn't work in discrete second, minute or hour increments. We measure things against time but the body just knows relative spans of time. Oh now I'm empty so feed me. Now I'm full again, soon I will be empty again but not yet. We invented time only a few thousand years ago but we have been on this planet much konger

But what if I go to sleep at 2am everyday, and wake up at 9,
For years.

Compared to someone who goes to bed at 10, up at 6.

Would our bodies do the same thing at the same time still? Say 8pm?

i believe the rhythm is light sensitive so if you arent getting sunlight at the right times, then your body isnt being set by the right external signals

e: sorry i was thinking you were talking about night shift type stuff. if you go to bed late and wake up a little late its hard to say lol
