Probably not an oldfag like some, but I've been lurking and used to post more often during the Jimmy escapades.

E/ was around when Oak started comping, Rapdawg was delusional, and Morholt was/is #1

I started lurking during the end of the Pinti days..so much has changed lol

Just a lot of shit posts. You still training?

SO much shit haha.

I'm not - I've become a lazy business owner. I am starting to build a home gym though, so that should change gradually (I was gifted an old Eleiko bar, so can't let that go to waste).

I see your epic beard pop up on facebook every now and then though, so it seems you are doing well?

Yes so much has.

I feel it's because fitness is becoming more profound and admired in society then it was before.

John are you still competing in powerlifting or are you a fulltime BJJ specialist by now?

I'm a piece of shit specialist. I just had surgery on my knee 2 weeks ago. So i'm recovering from that. I do BJJ now and plan to strength train again when I heal up.

A 300 pound white belt who didnt know what he was doing bear hugged my leg and twisted it(spoiler, that's not a fucking move). My worst fear in competition came true, I injured one of my legs. My knee cap poped in and out of place and my leg was numb for a little. I went to the DR and they drained around 60 ML of blood off my knee. I got a MRI and they thought it was an ACL, or buckethandle meniscus tear. I got lucky and it was neither. I had a fatty tissue pad impingement and they removed it. Full recovery is 6 weeks and they said it wont affect me down the road.
