.8 / kg of bw. I've experimented and I find that I don't need huge protein intake but carbs helps my intensity in the gym which is more important , at least for me

Fuck . Not per KG. I meant per lb.
.8g per lb and around 1.7 grams per kg.

According to lightman.. 1.7g per kg of protein was tested to be of the highest potential in being synthesized by the kidneys for its amino acids' various purposes.

Idk about that study.. so many different variables to account for

I've always lived by 1g protein = 1lb of body weight. Ideally 1.3-1.5g/lb is what most say, but 1g/1lb ratio is the minimum I allow myself (we all have days where we miss our macros)

Forreal, post up in Raynors thread man. He gives dank advice but he doesn't post anywhere other than his own thread

That's good man! I figured you made this thread because you wanted to change what you were doing to get more results. I'd post your current routine/diet for Raynor to check over. You'll get a better, serious answer in there. Keep doing what you're doing and maybe see if he offers any bit of advice you may be able to implement!

Generally on a cut your lifts won't be increasing (dependent on how big of a deficit you're in) but shit, if they're staying the same and you're getting cuts 4 sluts, by all means do skip jail and collect $500!

My workout actually sucked today. this weekend but it was the first weekend I didn't have some kind of cheat meal with tons of carbs so I'm going to do a refeed today.

Is there any actual science on this daily intake stuff?

Like...if you eat less on one day and more the next day, is there any science that says this is less effective than eating equal amounts on each day?

I find it hard to believe that your body actual uses a subjective 24 hour period for "optimal gains."

I agree about nutrition around workouts...but daily intake is another story.

unless you plan on competing, why would it matter?
keep carbs higher and still look good

dont need to lose size getting under 6-7% bodyfat
