crossfit is a brand, weightlifting and plyometrics existed long before the brand of crossfit

Is no one going to answer the question. I understand it's a brand, but the lifting itself isn't. (even though I didn't really ask a question)

What's bad about crossfit style workouts when performed correctly? Obviously they improve athletic ability otherwise athletes wouldn't do them.

Weightlifting and plyos* should already be apart of every athletes training regimen

Different training for different goals

Looks like you gave up on looking better, gave up on strength and reverted to training to be good at exercising

Some of the best athletes in the world are in the WWE.

But yeah anyway I don't see the hate on crossfit except for the abundance of poorly performed exercises

Wrestlers are on the road 300+ days a year , don't always get sleep , have time for proper meals, and their matches + wrestling training are probably more physically demanding than a student athlete who can easily fit meals in between classes , eat quality food , and sleep 8+ hours a day, opposed to the guys who are driving city to city each day performing every night plus training and lifting.

Hah! are you serious? this is way beyond reaching, my man!

...huh.

dirty, question: have you ever wrestled, or participated in any grappling sport? (Judo, BJJ, Catch wrestling, etc.)

I won't say that pro wrestling doesn't take a certain amount of athleticism. Clearly, it does, especially for the more acrobatic stunts.

But, pro wrestling is scripted. This isn't any kind of big secret, and everyone knows it.

A work (scripted match) will always be easier than a shoot (a non-scripted, live match.) What the athletes in pro wrestling are doing is closer to a choreographed dance, than an actual combat sport.

Not to say that pro wrestlers aren't / can't be knowledgeable about actually wrestling / grappling (the majority of them are), but that's not what they're doing.

The point of this whole thing, is that I don't think
