Honestly don't see how my post can be taken as a troll comment.. it was completely serious. Theoretically =/= reality.

Im just a beginner and even I know that effectively hitting legs is difficult. I can work up to 285 DL and pr on front squat then do volume afterwards, I'll be sore and tight but not dead sore. Does this mean I didn't hit legs as best I could have? Possibly. But... doing that every single day is too tasking and I doubt it would be effective at all... but what do I know.

I guess you're right. How long do you usually stay in the gym for?

you can definitely train every day. it's super important you get enough sleep every single day and take the time to stretch at least once a week still.

I'm waiting for the all-body workout every day kids to come out of the woodworks.

------------

Doing chest the day after shoulders, doing back the day before shoulders. Not adviced since in almost ALL movement, bar some isolation exercises, you're using the shoulders.

But keep doing what you're doing. I had a similar split like you and trained 6 days a week on a 3-day split. Thought I was doing the right thing. Deloaded for a week, took a step back, revised my training, improved some movements and tweaked my program and all kind of gains were made, muscle and strength.

That day after your workout is all recovery. Take that day.

Depends on your MRV (maximum recoverable volume) and how you setup your split. I'd say it's possible to train everyday whenever you are elite or novice but you would not do the same thing.

I currently train 6 days a week but If I had time I'd train everyday and multiple times a day. Just wouldn't do the same thing over and over.

Lol

Doesn't it take about 3-4 days for muscle tissue to fully repair itself?

But But Rich Piana is doing side/rear lat raises every night before bed in his new program.. I guess all that HGH really takes a chunk out of recovery time.
