Why do you try to make it taste good?

I have a blendtec so i HAVE to throw in apples. I still don't though.

Just juice all your greens and then chug it. Don't drown it with apple sugar juice.

Kale, shards, broc, celery, cucumber, and all those other greens.......Just juice them all into a disgusting grass like substance and just chug it.

It takes a lot of apples to mask that taste, so don't you think chugging it will be easier?

I throw in some lemons and limes to make it taste better

Chug that shit. My friend used to eat all the pulp from blending it with a spoon. I usually just take out like 70% of it and chug it down hoping i don't gag

Why apples

Put in pineaples, mango's and banana's...tastes frigging epic...no need to chug.

no placebo my friend :) met and learned from too many people by now to know this by now.

you shouldn't chug anything thats not good for your digestion or for your body. also theres nothing wrong with apple juice its good stuff.

well Asian medicine has been around longer than modern medicine so... i think im gonna listen to the side that has more experience. especial with my experience with modern doctors. especially since i've been reaping the benefits of juicing for 3 years now since posting on this forum last. also funny how you have no real proof to prove what i'm saying bullshit besides saying i'm crazy because you don't understand my post.

yup in the blender pineapple is great and mango is king.

Drilling a hole in the skull of a patient suffering from a headache to release the demons causing it was a common practice in ancient Egyptian medicine, do you prefer that over taking a Tylenol since it was around longer?

So much tinfoil hat in 1 thread

So everyone in this thread says that food doesn't have body cooling and warming effects?

Nobody has ever ate spicy food or cooling mint?
Hold on, AFK. placebo effect causing my forehead to sweat.

Imo placebo effect snorting pre-workout. I only get the energy when I have caffeine. I can't get a pump otherwise.

My post was saying that the human mind is a lot more powerful than people realize and that things like placebo effects and hypochondriacs experiencing symptoms is proof of that.

I've tried all of the different remedies for my UC and none of them have done anything for me. Sorry if I am a little skeptical on fruits and veggies and traditional chinese medicine curing all.

Pharmaceuticals have saved my life, so all of you hippies can eat me.

there are times when diet will help

there are times where its more or less bullshit

this is case specific

there is no miracle cure

but then theres just basic logic u should not ignore

and then it comes to belief in faith, blindly believing it works, sometimes makes it work i guess, but then u gotta realize the item itself did not do the work, its your belief in a way

mind is powerful yea

facts. you ever hear the expression as cool as cucumber?

traditional chinese medicine can give us tremendous amount of insight into learning what foods we should be eating to optimize our health. some people are hot and some people cold. ying and yang.

people who have cold hands cold feet need to keep circulation going. so we must consume foods and liquids that help improve that circulation (yams like sweet potato, mustard greens, ginger, peppers, cabbage, papaya, kale, parsley, etc.

people who get hot all the time and stay warm easily can get away with eating citrus fruits and or other cooling foods in the cold climates. if i eat or drink something cold during the winter i will be cold instantly. but if i have ginger tea and baked sweet potato or hot oatmeal for breakfast i'll stay much warmer through the day.

drinking cold water is also a bad idea. your organs have to work harder thus putting stress on the body. in TCM they believe the organs have a life span and if you make your organs work harder than they need to, you'll shorten your life span. everything should run efficiently and smoothly. water should be room temperature or warm. i started experimenting last year by drinking hot or warm water instead of cold water and it works, it really does.

i'm still learning so i don't know everything about this stuff but this is just what i know. maybe this post will inspire you guys into furthering your interests in optimal health, fitness, and performance. you have trillions of cells in your body. consuming the right things will improve the function of those cells thus improving all aspects of your life.

yeah try to get organic just to be sure.

hehe check above about TCM

this is alot of tin foil hat like others said lewl
drinking cold water is bad? so hey guys dont use ice ever
ice cream, iced tea, 7-11 slurpees, bad?

if you think cold water makes ur organs work harder and shorten ur life, holy shit. thats like near bubble boy status

not trying to be rude or mean, but plz think about how can this be true? like if you are concerned with that, i wonder what else you are concerned with?

i am a very cautious and skeptical person, and think alot of things are harmful for us, stuff we know about, and other stuff we dont know about. but even i dont think cold liquids r bad
