Cardio is Great but imo the real way to go is lifting weights while applying different mentality. You lose weight in the kitchen, not in the gym. So make sure you are under the bar with your calories + pick a lifting scheme and stick to it.

Curious. are there any even youtube/instagram videos of people with basic beginner gym routines that they've used to start up when you're a first time gym goer?

I'm surprised at the amount of non perfect information here. NO information is perfect but at least give him some real ideas. lol

Go get used to lifting for a week. Get your soreness out of the way.

Then just lift 2-3 times a week. Heavy weights. (use any routines that these d2jspers are giving you)

In between all that time...you need to count your calories and go for a negative 400-600 calories a day. Find your calories burn every 24/hrs @ rest(they have a equation for that). Add or subtract depending on what you do.

Then do a lot of cardio......

Don't just lift weights and eat less. That's such a lazy ass way.

Do everything.

Then you need to eat better. Try to get a lot of veggies and fibers in side of you so you can feel full. Don't be a fucking pussy and drink sodas or anything LOADED with sugar.

When you find your calories needed...SPLIT THAT up into 6-7 meals a day. Don't do that 3 high calorie meal a day shit.

This is how you lose weight fast and not a lot muscle.

I personally play basketball and roll with people at my gym so i get my cardio in without trying.
You can lose yourself in a basketball game for 90 minutes and over do your cardio.

It's not hard if you make it fun and push it to your max

thanks m8. i was reawding about the eating thing like even 4-5 smaller meals a day..helps your metabolism and yeah obviously no junk or shit with sugar and high calories. I'm basically just going to hit the gym 3-4 times a week after work. cardio every one of those days for 30-40 minutes (fast walking to start out) and weights for 20-30 minutes (lower body one day, arms chest the next and like back/abs another day.

Good start. Just make sure you dont get lazy and take a 2 day break.....

I make my life easier by having cashews and healthy stuff near by. I throw it in my car and have a 5 gallon bottle of water in my car at all times. Going 6hrs + without food = fat storage when you get food.

Just get it done and dont give up. Find a friend to do it with.

I tend to take it a bit toooo far when i have a friend who out works me but whatever gets you going.
Good luck man

When you get rid of all that fat....these d2jsp guys will hit you up with an awesome bulking routine. hehe

Diablo gaming forum, surprised at lack of quality responses. The majority of the guys that used to post useful information, don't care anymore.

I come on d2jsp once every now and then and i see some pretty decent information.

Sometimes it gets stupid as fuck but I still see a lot of good information.

Why don't we have an official thread where people can just go back and read it.
