He's just referring to collective volume measured in lbs or kilos over a longer period of time, such that the volume gets up into the tonne region of units. Like oh I moved 20 metric tons of weight this week with my squat.

It's more common in weightlifting I think.
Friend was at the Klokov trainingcamp this year and was told that the russian nationalteam do around 230000lbs per week in lifts/squats/pulls (working sets).

hey aube, where did u come up with this volume block thing?? can u link me to a website or is it a spreadsheet u can pm me? kinda wanna use it for my other lifts as well. been doing the volume block u gave me and i like it alot
