Know what you mean man, I used to labour on building sites.
Found it well hard to workout afterwards.

maybe just do very short workouts with a few compound lifts that you find very enjoyable.

Like bench, dips, deadlift, front/back squats, chin ups.

20-30 min workouts.

40 hours/student/still make time for the gym. get up early and do it before you do anything else or it wont happen.
