You don't need to cut carbs back per se
just commensurately lower all macros to decrease your total intake below your expenditure.. which = fat loss (energy in < energy out)

Btw, if you're seeking satiety whilst cutting, protein is #1 for that (and technically contributes the least to total energy concomitantly). And obv everyone knows fiber. Pile that shit on and you'll be full w/ ease. Also intermittent fasting #1 kthx.

OP look up the glycemic index and the difference between simple and complex carbs. i think you'll find what you learn pretty valuable.

Like 6'3" 195-208 depending on what I'm trying to accomplish at the time.

I've always felt I do better with more fats.. Healthy fats ofc though..
