yes a carb is a carb but....
fruits have vitamins and minerals that are great for your health
poptarts don't offer any health benefits

thats what I define as healthy eating, not talking just about fat loss...
healthy eating

Poptarts have vitamins and minerals in them though.

Oh I wasn't aware I said anything about vitamins and minerals.

Take a multivitamin and now your problem is fixed.

regardless of what Division I was apart of, it was good for me in various of ways.

Its funny these are coming from keyboard warriors, are you even an athlete or just a weight lifter?

How stiff are you? when you run ?

Chug a glass of water after you eat your poptart before you fall asleep and i will guarentee you will swell up like a balloon.

and the reason why people swell up is due to your body retaining too much water. A lot of sodium + a lot of water = swell

** edit **

not to mention, everyone's metabolism is different.

A person with a very fast metabolism wont swell up as much or at all in comparison to an overly obese person.

Again, if i'm wrong. I'm all ears. I didnt study this, i didnt google this just now. It's what I know from my past experience in dealing with this.

Not saying I know it all. I just find it humorous OP wanted advice on how to change his diet to help him lose weight, all I hear are flames from people that dont know anyone that they havent met.

Right maybe swell up was the wrong thing to say when trying to get my point across. You said something about carbs turning into fat that rubbed me wrong. Would go and quote it, but I'm on my phone procrastinating studying for my finals.

Anyways my point is, the time you eat carbs or anything for that matter is really not a huge deal like people think it is.

And op wants to lose weight. You lose weight by being at a caloric deficit. It doesn't matter what you eat.

Easy to freeze meals:
Chili
Lasagna
Stews

Is freezing a must??

If not just meal prep chicken, fish, lean turkey, lean beef etc. Those will last 3-4 days in fridge. Make rice in rice cooker for 3-4 days. Rinse and repeat.

I usually have oatmeal + pb + coconut + banana mixed up and some cottage cheese for breakfast, then eat meal prepped lunch/dinner with snacks in between (nuts, fruit, protein shake).
