The SS coach (certified by Mark Rippetoe himself) has already responded on the thread I linked you, and said it's good form. That screenshot you took is not at the instant where my squat is at it's lowest point.

I wasn't really looking for depth advice honestly, didn't think anyone would actually say depth was an issue here. Just wanted more opinions on bar path perhaps.

I dont see you below parallel on any of the reps (video playing at 1/4 speed). You get parallel pretty much, so it's better depth than half of the people I see squatting at the gym. But I wouldn't preach below parallel.

Sigh gotta prove another stubborn new lifter, fine, gimme 1 minute I'll SS with timestamps LOl.

Sorry, but I'll trust an experienced SS coach approved by Rip himself when it comes to depth.

This. Hitting parallel is the important part. The reason you have to get so low is to protect your knees from the sheer stress, which it looks like you're accomplishing. Can't hurt to go lower but doesn't look like you'll hurt yourself to me at least.

Squat depth is part of your form whether you like it or not. Your SS coach is stupid if he thinks that's considered a good depth even by SS standards or he doesn't care if you hit that depth because he thinks you're too much of a casual lifter.

You posted your form on here for a "FORM CHECK" if you didn't want any critiques because your SS coach told you it's fine then why the fuck are you posting for a form check. Did you want a bunch of jspers to praise you? That's not going to happen, fix your shit form.

You act as if his shorts aren't tight mid squat.. nothing is left to the imagination. You just want to see him in tights.

If your hammy's aren't touching the bottom of your calves, you aren't atg. That's the way I check my depth mid squat.

OP is squating low bar (obvious from the back angle). If you go ATG while squatting low bar = lower back will round. Dipping slightly below parallel is perfect depth as far as low bar squatting goes.

OP isn't exactly dipping below parallel though. ;)

But like I said earlier, he's basically parallel. Which is still much better than most people I see, not to mention someone who's only been squatting for 7 weeks. Not hating, just pointing out what I saw in the video he uploaded for us to critique.

Actually that's not his SS coach he linked, that's Rip's own forum that Rip himself regularly answers questions on. Get your shit straight.

OP shouldn't be asking for form advice from a bunch of jsper in the first place when he's got all the answer he needs from startingstrength.com

ATG isn't even part of the debate, he's not even hitting correct depth on Low Bar even by Mark Rippetoes standards.

This, but it's slack to not give advice when it matters most -- when he's still learning and using manageable weights.

Having to change form at higher numbers is a lot harder.
