im the same way dude, im sure some of the med students here can attest LOL. i struggled pretty badly this year with anxiety which i think was brought on initially by work. i cleaned in a hospital and was ocd about the working environment, exposure to cytotoxic drugs with certain patients, low quality removal of asbestos from the building, all sorts of cleaning chemicals giving me respiratory issues. i started to slowly freak out over the course of the year and my performance in class slipped to the point where i was always tired and losing some weight due to constant stress. gotta trust that those medical professionals are experts and when they say you're fine, you're going to be ok. i went from condition to condition trying to self diagnose with literally one single symptom that didnt match clinical presentation at all. dont neglect your exercise, a good hard run will actually make you feel so much better

Tbh I feel only ephemeral bouts of stress, notwithstanding my workload in life, as long as I have a solid couple of hours of pure free time each day, at home, doing whatever the fuk I feel like. Which is typically nothing - smoking some cannabis, reading some study/review articles, watching netflix, playing #idarb, whatever.. Just gotta have some time to unwind I guess.


Gotta agree with balla on this one, just smoke some weed. Plenty of successful people smoke weed.

Massage or acupressure is great for stress relief, if you are single then masterbation is a good idea, unless your a player like most of hnf says they are and have casual sex.


so try getting to relax by doing relaxing things, like getting a massage or meditate like someone else said. Creating more endorphines would also be beneficial in keeping a positive mind set.
