@the people in this thread talking and talking and talking. Telling us their wonderful tales of how they do things differently yet somehow are still small as shit and weak as fuck.
Because you see ONE guy ONCE do something you don't like, you immediately assume that's all he does, all the fucking time. Like you're aware of what he does every single day.
Triceps quickly take over in shoulder presses, he's avoiding that. The only issue is that he's bouncing the weights slightly off of his shoulders, but otherwise its fine FOR HIS INTENDED PURPOSE.
You see those last words? They're key. I'm sure he's done clean reps with different weights for a DIFFERENT purpose at other times during his workouts.
Just like in strongman we'll do incredible ranges of motion and then do partial reps.
Some little 14 year old twig who reads bodybuilding magazines might see me at that very moment. Doing partial reps. He doesn't know any better, so he probably thinks I'm doing my shit wrong. At the end of the day, I'm bigger, stronger, have more raw power and am more flexible.
You don't know how to get big. You couldn't physically get big in the first place, because you don't bother to look into why they do what they do. You gobble up whatever a 180 lbs guy with ripped abs tells you and take it as gospel and then wonder why you hit plateaus every few months and can't seem to fucking grow.
Strength lifting is a completely different fucking world. You engage so much more than your muscles. You heavily tax your CNS, your joints, your bones. Partial movements help you break through some tough spots. It helps your CNS/joints/bones get the feel of heavier weights because they don't develop as fast as your muscles do.
Stop acting like know it alls until you've actually been there and done that. Seriously.
so r u training yourself again? and back at gym? the terms you used make it seem like u r still doing this?
or r u just speaking from the past and not present?
u speak as if u dont tax your cns joints or bones in non strenth lifting.... thought some1 even mentioned a bit ago that a huge part is time under tension, not so much how heavy the weight is
u started out by saying others are assuming they know this guy and what he does, then u say YOU KNOW HIS INTENDED PURPOSE, are u sure u know his purpose? seems hypocritical
and u seem to have anger towards people with abs lol
wtf did i just read, a mega rant
