Nah this is actually well known tbh though

Studies in both humans and rats have validated that circulating LH, FSH, and correspondingly, testosterone levels, are attenuated from either acute or chronic THC.

However, I've never read a study to indicate it's all that robust. One study on monkeys even showed that shortly after THC ingestion there was like a 60ish% decrease in test levels. That's really not that much seeing as how your normal levels of testosterone fluctuate more than that in a circadian fashion.
Moreover, testosterone levels within the physiologically normal range won't have differential effects on muscle building or fat loss proclivity. It's simply not robust enough to be that significant like you're suggesting.

Interestingly, thc/cannabis in general greatly increases libido despite the test decrease. Could be due to an increase in dopamine secretion from the VTA and attenuation in prolactin.

So it affects the HPO axis' feedback mechanism? That means if there is fluctuation in FSH/LH levels, it can affect reproduction in males and females, possibly teratogenic through an indirect fsh/lh mechanism on implantation.

anyway, what's good with u been a while.

I smoke every day, no correlation what so ever(Edit: for me at least, as i've had my levels recorded three times in the last two years). Actually the only thing i've ever heard and this came from my brother in law whose an oncologist and just overall one of the smartest guys i know when it comes to physiology, that it can lower HR. lol.

Edit: fuck Lightman is about to tear me apart i better go now

Marijuana stimulates HR...it causes tachycardia, and causes hyperasthesia...so you can "feel/hear" your own heartbeat on it.

when you're actually working hard and go above a low heart rate, smoking the marijuana can cause your heart rate to not go as high when doing so.

i know that when you smoke your resting heart rate increases, i'm definitely referring to its platuae effects on heart rate as i see it each time i do so, and always have

Well there is no denying the fact that smoking something will cause an effect on ones bodily functions.

I'm not sure the mechanism off top. I'll check my sources later for ya

But yeah studies have actually pondered if it could lead to infertility or something along those lines. Again, don't think it's super significant but who knows. The spermatogenesis may be quite afflicted.

Nah cannabis increases heart rate in all conditions
In fact, the main reason that it's ergolytic from an exercise physiology perspective is bc you have a heightened HR for the effort you've put in and that maintains as you go up.
