I know you got a shit ton of different answers, but I seriously think you should start with gaining mass before trying to gain strenght. To gain mass you need to do high volumes under tension the whole time, so lower weights. You'll want to do any exercise you do to be atleast 3 sets of 10 reps.
Also like you said try to eat more. Just eating more in general, don't even start counting calories etc... Whenever you are not full, eat and eat something caloric. Eggs is good to start with (white/yellow).
