I don't know the numbers, but in that time frame it wouldn't surprise me if Affic was right. It may well be a higher amount that will be used,

but I'll guarantee that well over half that protein won't be used by his body in the way that it is intended by someone who thinks protein = muscle repair

I'm not saying your body doesn't use it in other ways, I'm saying for muscle protein synthesis, it doesn't.

There are other benefits to eating more per meal, but as it pertains to the above, it isn't necessary. Nothing wrong with eating more protein.
