Always include them on leg day, they are the most visible aspect of your lower body when wearing shorts. Make sure to work them out!

The calves secret.
5 sets to fail standing calf
5 sets to failure seated calf
5 sets to failure tibialis curl of some form
All sets 30sec rest. Hold contraction hard and slow ass negatives with 0 bounce. The bounce trains that meaty ankle tendon and that will take the brunt of load off calves. Reps should be high but its the internal feel that counts.
Do calves before your thighs on leg day.
Make sure to do this 2 times a week minumum.
Make sure to add weight slowly and when needed to exercises

Thanks for backing me up, brohemians.
I am really insecure about the thickness of my outer legs.
Leg day coming up, gonna see if I can implement the calve workout from the gentleman above me when my current routine is over.

Same, fuck seated. Though I do like Doing them on leg press.
