Unless something sends a signal to delay protein absorption, your body will digest whey as soon as it detects it. With that being said, post-workout protein consomption has been shown to have negligible effects. Even if you wait an hour to eat some protein, it won't affect your gains.

Yeah that. MPS stays elevated for up to like 48 hours postwo so just make sure you hit your macros each day and you're g2g
