didn't read past first post, but you're gonna be a fueler.

don't join the military bro, i'm currently half way through my contract and i'd rather have paid for school and been 80k in debt than get my school paid for.

Mostly this. Although, I am not as upset about joining. It taught me a lot.
But yeah, you are a fueler. Kinda a shit job.

I'm halfway through my contract as well and sometimes I feel the same way. I still think joining the military was the best decision I've made.

Hey no doubt it was a good decision. It has taught me a lot. I have grown a lot, and matured. Will take a lot of great things away from this experience, but it is by no means a good match for me, other than being on my own, and giving me college tuition.

Right now I'm just at that point where I think the grass is way greener on the other side.

I agree 100%. As to why I would never make it a career, too much bullshit to deal with.
