2/3/4 is doable with your current in like 3-4 months man. get your diet straight, you should most likely be bulking, or at least in a very slight surplus.

if you'll stay consistent, try 5/3/1 imo.. very easy to progress on.  i'd just drop the deload week, and you can run close to 2 cycles of it a month so ~10lbs to bench and ~15-20 on squat and dead a month..

Running fierce 5 intermediate program right now and I really like it . Been making good progress .

Thanks for providing insight . Oh wait two of the so called knowledgeable people on the forum come in to be fucking assholes , while everyone is is respectful and offers value to the thread .

I started lifting in 2011 , no idea what I was doing for probably the first year or two . Started counting macros in 2013 which I then cut for a year up until this august .

So really I haven't been consistent up until my cut and now I actually have an idea of what I'm doing .

unless you were very obese.. cutting for a year sounds like a fail no hate.

but as long as you're happy with making progress, good for you, but 2/3/4 is very doable in far less than the time frame you have set out.

It is a fail . But I got to where I wanted to be . I lost 30 or so pounds in a year . For the summer I maintained though so it was more like 8 months.

For me personally . My goal is to improve , if I'm improving in some way then that's great I don't want to be a bodybuilder . I just want to be healthy

lolwut.

That would make life so hard.

there comes a time when you grow up that accomplishments become more rewarding than trivial matters like.. should i put this butter on the food scale before it goes on the pan? btw, maintenance of low bodyfat (~9-10%) for people who workout 5-6 days a week usually looks like 2600+ kcal. how is this hard u l8z mafk

hmm, sounds like your asking a lot for a year, unless you do some serious supplementation, and follow arnies motto of "rest day? you mean sleep?" and "theres no such thing as over training, just under sleeping and under eating" but i would suggest probably 5bulk to 1 cut, you don't really make gains in a cutting phase other than in muscular endurance. other then that just train like a mad man. i remember the first time i broke the 2 plate barrier on bench... i sharted.

how do you train muscular endurance during a cut?
