On the topic of In N Out, my friend was telling me how he can't gain weight (6'2"-6'3" 135lbs). I told him to eat more, he said he does. So, a group of us went to In N Out at like 11pm and I showed him what it means to 'eat more' lol.

In one sitting (the server guy probably thought I was crazy):
-4x4 + Protein Style + Animal Style
-4x4 + Protein Style + Animal Style
-2x2 + Animal Style
-Neopolitan Milkshake
-5x Small Pink Lemonades

Granted, I didn't eat anything at all as I was running around the entire day, but was so delicious...

whats protein style? is that like them adding semen? jk bro

i never heard of neopolitan milkshake either.

i am unaware of this in n out names, i will have to get them to see what they are.

nice now eat that same amount of calories in 'clean' foods.

Depending on your goals, "clean" food is overrated. If I have your understanding of clean, I used to do it as I had thought it to be the 'only way'. The most I tried to eat of "clean" foods was 4,500-5,000 kcals/day.

Grilled chicken breast, grilled steak, salmon, salad, tons of greens, sweet potoes, rice, etc. I would carry a cooler of food around campus and to practice with me. Always eating.

It just got bothersome after a few months though as the food stopped being appealing anymore, and my only intent was to gain on as much strength and size as possible. There was no concern with being lean as it didn't matter in the least - just tried to make sure my body always had ample nutrients/engery to be in an anabolic state.

So I started adding in less filling, more calorie dense foods - Ice cream with heavy cream on top, pizza dipped in olive oil, huge chipotle burritos with extra everything, etc.

Say all you will about "dirty" vs "clean" or whatever arbitrary definition, but the food paired with a ton of training resulted in accomplished goals haha. In 1.5 years I went from 183 to 240ish (238 or 239), bench went from 275 to 405, box squat went from 365x5 to 550x5, hang clean went from 215 to 295, and I qualified for Nationals in my event (with a 9th place finish - not optimal, but with my stature and genetics, it was a wonder I even made it there in the first place).

4x4 is 4 burger patties and 4 slices of cheese

protein style is replacing the bun with lettuce

2x2 is 2 burgers/2cheese

animal style when i had it included a different sauce and caramelized onions

neopolitan milkshake is just mixing vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate (like neopolitan ice cream)

animal style only adds grilled onions and mustard fries the patties and adds extra spread/pickle..

and why get 5 small pink lemonades that cost like 1.50 and are 12 ounces each instead of getting 1 extra large pink lemonade that costs like 190?
