Fans of their rival team (Barcelona) have already photoshopped various rude articles around that guy so if you do a search I'm sure you'll find something of the sort <_<

probably best bet - work on agility/explosive sprints.

long distance jogging

also work some jumping in there, will pay off with them 50-50 in the air chances.

Dutch soccer player here.

Played in 1st league (it's one league lower than the televised one) for 3 years as a defender.

Your training looks fine, just keep on practicing on explosive short sprints, walk it off for 10 seconds and repeat.

Do you have a position in mind? Most typically are defenders smart / able to adapt to the offensive of the enemy team. Some body is adviced.

Midfielders are the ones making the miles on the field, defending and attacking.

Strikers / offensive are strong fast initiators.

It's national sport numero uno over here, everyone plays soccer in The Netherlands.

Perhaps talk to the coach and ask what he needs for his team?

Semi-pro it was called. Got 10 training jackets / shorts / socks and shoes yearly. Made some cousins really happy. The money was not much compared to the time invested. 400 euro monthly on average basis. Good players made more.

We trained daily and combined with my job it was a big hassle. No free time left. Decided to quit as I felt I peaked and couldn't get any more out of it. The club was financially a mess as well :D

What's your plan to make the team in November?
