Pipe welders here in sask / alb run their own rigs so their making good money. A guy doing oil field repairs with his own rig is looking at $90+ an hour. Northern alb on the pipe lines youre looking at $110/h. Those guys ofc buy their own rods and fuel their welders and trucks tho. Im $26/h running a mig machine building hoppers in a shop
