It makes plenty of sense...
And you can do any standard exercise with dumbbells as opposed to barbells. If it's a varsity gym they might have trap bars to deadlift with.

No it doesn't. I don't have the money to throw away for my lower back when I have a convenient and free fitness center at my school. That doesn't mean I don't care about it.

Also I don't have access to the varsity gym? lol

Dead man's walk, modified deadlift on a slightly raised surface, kettlebell type stuff, hip thrusts, maybe one-legged squats, lunges ... presses are really great with dumbbells but it depends on what you're already lifting. Maybe more incline/decline if you find them tougher.

It's hard to get a truly good strength workout without some barbells and racks; hypertrophy shouldn't be toooo bad if you stick to iso stuff and volume. You can't replace a full gym, but maybe you could get the fees back and join a different gym.

All I want for strength is legs and back. The rest is all about those aesthetics.

That makes no sense...

At my University...the Football team is not allowed to "practice" football off-season (e.g. they can do drills, but no scrimmages), but they are allowed to train in the weight room. Training in weight room is considered preventative exercise...reducing risk of future injury and helping recover from past/present injuries. The football players do everything...bench...deadlift...squat...cleans...etc

lolwut?

The sports teams have their own varsity gym that has all the free weights in it.

Anyone who isn't on a sports team has to use the fitness center that doesn't have free weights.

That is what I have been doing.

Not sure why HnF thinks I am some retard who doesn't have any idea on what to do with my life, now that I can't use barbells.

I was just simply asking for thoughts on good workouts to do without barbells and everyone goes ape shit.

I lifted for about 5 months, basically just doing starting strength. So obviously the majority of lifts I know are going to be barbell related.

Not really sure why HnF has such a snobbish attitude when people ask for help.

Are you looking for ideas for every body part?

When I have time I'll try thinking up what I would do for each day etc

Do you go to the University of Planet Fitness or something?

Your school doesn't have enough funding for a fucking insurance policy against lifting a barbell vs. Dumbbells?
