Back in December of 2013 I had a big bump on my tail bone, it ended up exploding and blood / pus was constantly coming out for a few days so I decided to go to the doctors.. found out it was a pilonidal cyst :\
nonetheless got surgery on it and bill was around $6,500, but we met all of our deductables so should have only owed $75 to hospital and that was clarified before i got surgery done, been fighting with insurance company for them to pay the money ever since after they lied about paying it on multiple occasions right after the surgery happened

well the cyst is back and have to get surgery again on the 29th .. of course the shit with insurance company isn't sorted out yet so i'm probably going to be in a world of annoyance as if i wasn't already annoyed enough being on the phone for 1-2 hours a week with them for the last 6 months

for those who hasn't experienced or seen this cyst first hand on a friend or anything.. it fucking sucks, blood / pus in the anus region on the constant which leads to chafing which hurts like a mother fucker

RIP OP. I've had two and getting correctional surgery on my second one in October. I'm lucky I don't have to pay for any treatment. I had a nurse come to my home for a few months each day to care for my ass. Still didn't have to pay anything. The final step is now plastic surgery.

My surgery took 13 months to heal. But so far so good, haven't had a "relapse". All though the chances are good you'll get another once you have one.

I got laser hair removal treatments completely paid for by my insurance because of my pilonidal cyst.



Wait they stitched yours? I had to let mine heal from the inside out, and had silver nitrate treatments every Friday morning at the hospital.



I was put on a medicine that basically was a super laxative for the first month. Pee'd out my ass basically in the shower, because I wasn't allowed to wipe.

I only had local anesthesia so I was fully awake the whole time. I was asked to lay down on my stomach before the ducktaped my ass cheeks apart and to the operating table. Then some nurses came in and concluded that my ass was too hairy and they would trim/wax it. They told me to look at the positive side since many people paid good money for a such a trim.

I can tell you while I was lying there I didn't feel much pride. Especially when the male doctor came in and started cutting with his scalpel. At one point he hit an area what wasn't fully asleep and fuck me did it hurt.
